This website is owned and operated by OMEGA Mission International, Inc. Please read the following Privacy Policy and Terms of Use ("Terms of Use"). The use of this website is conditioned upon acceptance of the Terms of Use, and your use of this website constitutes your agreement with the Terms of Use. These Terms of Use may change from time to time, so please check back periodically. Your continued use of the OMEGA Mission International websites following any such changes will constitute your agreement with the amended Terms of Use. These Terms of Use do not apply to pages hosted by other organizations to which we may link and whose privacy and other policies may differ.

OMEGA MISSION INTERNATIONAL PRIVACY POLICY

OMEGA Mission International respects the privacy of its supporters. Please read the following policy to understand how we treat your personal information. We will use reasonable efforts to honor any limitations you may wish to place on the usage of your personal information.

Collection of Information

When you are on any of the OMEGA Mission International websites and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with OMEGA Mission International alone, unless stated otherwise. OMEGA Mission International may collect information regarding website visitors, including IP address, browser and domain information, and information volunteered by you, such as e-mail address, contact information and, for donations and purchases, credit card information. We may also monitor and track information, such as website visitor usage patterns using standard website tracking software.

Transactions

OMEGA Mission International will collect any information needed to complete your transaction, receipt your gift and communicate back to you. Our site uses a securely encrypted contribution response form. Credit card numbers are used only for contribution processing and are not retained for other purposes. We will make every effort to honor any designation you state for your contribution. However, if that particular project is fully funded, we will use your donation for another project where the need is greatest.

Please Help Us

The articles, photographs, video footage, logos, etc, you view on the OMEGA Mission International web site are either the copyrighted property of OMEGA Mission International or are copyrighted by another company and used with their permission. Please honor these copyrights and do not reproduce these materials without our express written permission.

Personally Identifiable Information

OMEGA Mission International collects personal information from visitors and other supporters when they register as participants of our eCommunity, make a donation or purchase online or offline, subscribe to our e-newsletter, take an action concerning an issue using our service, or otherwise participate in one of our online communities. Please note that our web server does not automatically recognize or collect personal information based on your e-mail address; the personal information we collect is always voluntarily submitted by you.

Use of Information

OMEGA Mission International uses the information we collect about you to be able to send you communications such as our e-newsletter and various printed publications or mail appeals in furtherance of our fundraising, educational, and advocacy objectives. We also use this information to help administer and improve our web sites and for other internal purposes. If you have subscribed to OMEGA Mission International's eCommunity, we will generally send you several communications per year.

Sharing of Information

OMEGA Mission International will not disclose any of your personally identifiable information to third parties, except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it. Because OMEGA Mission International is funded solely through private donations. Please note: We are aware of and sensitive to the issue of unsolicited e-mail ("spam"); therefore OMEGA Mission International will never rent, trade or sell your e-mail address for commercial purposes. From time to time, however, we may agree with other reputable, charitable organizations to write via postal mail or e-mail to some of each other's supporters, for the mutual benefit of both. If you would prefer not to have your name used in this manner, simply send us a request via e-mail to jhale@omegamission.org with your exact name and address.

Update, Correct, or Delete Personal Information

The accuracy of your individual information is important to OMEGA Mission International. Additionally, we have tried to streamline our operations by making it easy for you to control the information that we maintain about you. If you have a question about or change to your personal information, please send an e-mail to jhale@omegamission.org.

Protecting Personal Information

When you give OMEGA Mission International personal information, we take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely. OMEGA Mission International uses industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving sensitive visitor data (e.g., financial information) with our site. All online donations are processed via a secure server, which we indicate to visitors through a pop-up screen on the site. OMEGA Mission International does not store your credit card information for future use. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, OMEGA Mission International cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure its security on our systems, and to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information that we have collected. OMEGA Mission International is not responsible for use of personal information by its partner companies. Please consult the websites of those companies for information concerning their privacy policies.

The OMEGA Mission International website may provide links to other third party websites. While we make efforts to choose our links carefully, we cannot take responsibility for the content of linked websites, or for the privacy policies of websites we link to. Linking to the OMEGA Mission International Website

Internet websites should seek permission of OMEGA Mission International if they wish to link to an OMEGA Mission International website by e-mailing jhale@omegamission.org. Such links will be subject to conditions, including but not limited to, clearly identifying OMEGA Mission International as the source of the information displayed and preserving the integrity of the OMEGA Mission International web pages without alteration.

Spread the Word

If you choose to utilize the referral service for telling a friend about the OMEGA Mission International website, you will be asked for the friend's name and e-mail address. OMEGA Mission International will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting the friend to visit the site. OMEGA Mission International stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail.
